How to use this tool

The Bulk Image Resizer applies the same resize + re-encode operation to dozens of images in one go. It is designed for product-catalog owners, blog authors, and SEO teams who receive raw camera images and need to output a consistent, web-ready set to feed into their CMS or CDN.

How to use it

Drop many images onto the upload zone. Choose a target width (height defaults to Auto to preserve aspect ratio, or override it if you need a specific canvas size). Pick the output format — JPG for photographs, PNG for transparent assets, or WebP for maximum compression.

Click Resize All to process every image in parallel. A thumbnail grid shows the results with old dimensions and new file sizes. Bundle everything into a ZIP with one click, sequentially named for easy import.

Recommended presets

For blog inline images target 1200 px width at 82% quality WebP — big enough for Retina displays, small enough to keep pages fast. For hero banners and social share cards, use 1920 px width at 85%.

Thumbnails for product grids should sit at 480–40 px width. Anything smaller is likely too pixelated on modern high-DPI screens.

Yes but we don't invent new detail — upscaled images look soft unless you enable sharpening.

Can I set different dimensions for each image?

The batch resizer applies the same dimensions to all images. For individual control, use the single-image Resize Image tool. You can choose to preserve aspect ratio or stretch to exact dimensions.

What is the maximum batch size?

There is no hard limit, but processing hundreds of large images simultaneously may consume significant memory in your browser. We recommend batches of 50–100 images for optimal performance.

Does resizing reduce image quality?

Downscaling always produces a smaller image but uses high-quality resampling. You can choose the output format (JPG, PNG, WebP) and quality to control the trade-off.

Do transparent images survive the pipeline?
