How to use this tool

The Add Text to Image tool overlays customizable text onto any picture. Great for creating quote cards, meme templates, headline images for blog posts, quick social media posters or annotated screenshots — all rendered in your browser with pixel-precise typography.

How to use it

Drop an image, then type your text into the field. Drag the X and Y sliders to position the text anywhere on the canvas (values are percentages of image width/height so positioning stays consistent across resolutions). Choose the fill color, and optionally add a contrasting outline stroke for readability against complex backgrounds.

Font size scales from tiny 12 px annotations to bold 240 px headlines. The preview updates in real time. Download the final PNG when everything looks right.

Typography best practices
