How to use this tool

The Image Padding Tool adds whitespace or colored padding around an image without altering the pixels of the image itself. Use it to give portraits breathing room, prepare product shots for a uniform grid, or add margin around avatars before uploading them to platforms that crop tightly.

How to use it

Drop an image and enter the padding you want on each side. Toggle "Uniform padding" to apply the same value to all four sides at once, or turn it off to control top, right, bottom and left independently. Pick a padding color, or check "Transparent" to keep the padded area fully alpha-transparent.

The preview updates as you type. When the composition looks right, download the padded PNG.

Typical scenarios
